The NYS Emergency Rental Assistance Program is a way to help with emergency rental costs while you recover from the food. It may help you afford a better place to live, or, if you like where you are living now, it may help you pay your rent and security deposit while you are displaced from your permanent home. To qualify you need to have been a resident of the Underwood Estates Mobile Home Park during the January 2018 Flood event, and now displaced from your home due to flood damages. The level of your assistance will be based on need, current housing expenses, and reasonableness of cost.
